The thrill of battle had subsided, and all that was left was the reality of what had happened - he and Cybil had won.Ĭybil, meanwhile, wasn’t going to stop. He’d pushed himself to the limit through the whole ordeal, venting all of the rage that had been building up within himself for months if not years, but now… Vitus decided to rest, painfully grunting as he sat down, leaning on a nearby rock. The combatants faced each other once more, blows were exchanged, and at the end of it all… This fight was the culmination of so much work, finally bringing an end to the conflict between them all… and in the span of only a few moments, it all came to its conclusion. Doing anything else was entirely out of the question. Some had healed themselves, while others simply powered through by sheer force of will, regardless of what might happen to them. Regardless of their injuries, they fought on. At the center of it all were the four fighters, all injured in various ways - whether those be bruises, cuts, gunshots, broken bones, or them having stone spears impaled into their bodies. In a matter of minutes, the beachside had transformed into a brutal warzone - rock spears embedded into the ground, splatters of blood dotting the sand, which had been flung and moved to form mounds and wells of it all around.
